For those of you who aren’t familiar with the very famous Singer 401 model, this machine features a Slant Needle and was king of the showroom in the late 50’s. While there are other 400 class machines, none offered as many stitch options as the 401. Beyond the built in options this machine’s capabilities are expandable with cams as well.  On the inside you’ll find those famous all metal gears that make this machine about as close to indestructible as you can get.
